Our Central Receiving Warehouse at Oyster Point receives all deliveries from Fisher Scientific, VRW International, and large pieces of equipment intended for UCSF campus departments.

When large pieces of equipment are received they are matched against the assigned purchase order. The equipment is then uncrated and inspected for damage. If no damage is found, the end user is contacted to schedule a delivery. Should the equipment be found to be damaged, the delivery company, the equipment vendor, the buyer of the equipment and the end user will be contacted for resolution.

We also receive desktop deliveries for campus departments that are addressed and delivered to the individuals placing the order. These items must include a street address, name of the individual, UCSF building and room number.

Unfortunately we cannot accept orders requiring refrigeration or those packed in dry ice.

Safe and secure transfer of received supplies & equipment from Oyster Point are made via Distribution & Storage freight trucks, and then delivered by our staff directly to your specified delivery point.
