The Avenue Houses are a great choice for those seeking a single or shared room in a group house or apartment with other UCSF students and post-docs. Located on 3rd and 5th Avenues just off Parnassus Avenue, these spacious houses are steps away from the Kalmanovitz Library, the Millberry Fitness & Recreation Center, the UCSF Medical Center, many public bus lines and the light-rail train. This program is best suited for those without a car, as parking in the neighborhood is scarce. These spaces fill up quickly, so we encourage you to schedule your move-in as early as possible after July 1.

About 145 Irving Street

145 Irving Street is a building made up of eighteen 2-Bedroom shared apartments. These units are rented to two separate tenants, and each is assigned his/her own bedroom. Both tenants must be eligible UCSF students or post-docs. One person may not rent the entire 2-bedroom apartment.
